Viewer Guide

Everything you need to watch the Blasters — live games, replays & photos.

1 Signing in

BlasterVision is private to Blasters families.

  1. Open watch.hisbaseball.us in your phone or computer browser.
  2. Enter the username and password you were given by the team.
  3. Tap Sign In. You'll stay signed in on that device, so you usually only do this once.
Tip: Keep your login private — it's just for our team's families.

2 Getting around — the buttons

Along the top of the app (or under the menu on a phone) you'll find buttons like 📹 Live Views 📼 Past Games 📅 Schedule.

Each one works like a toggle:

Only one panel is open at a time — opening one automatically closes the others, so the screen never gets cluttered.

On a phone? Tap the icon in the top-right to reveal these buttons, plus ❓ Guide and Logout.

Closing the app

BlasterVision runs like a normal app, so you close it the same way you close any app on your phone:

You don't need to close it to step away — it's fine to just switch to another app. Use Logout in the menu only if you're on a shared device and want to sign out.

3 Live Views — pick your camera angles

Tap 📹 Live Views to see the available cameras, then tap the ones you want to watch.

Tip: On a phone, 1–2 views look best in portrait; turn sideways (landscape) for 3–4.

The “Live (Phone)” view

One view may be labeled Live (Phone) — that's a broadcast from a phone at the field. Its dot tells you the status:

Shipyard Tournament: Right now the Live Views are the cameras set up for the Shipyard Tournament. This is a special set-up for the event — these views will change or be removed once the tournament is over.

Recording (admins only)

Admins see a red ● Rec button on each live stream (in Live Views and in the Streams panel). Tap it, give the recording a title, and optionally set an auto-stop timer. A red banner shows while it's recording; tap ■ Stop (or let the timer finish) and the recording is saved into 📼 Past Games automatically. Recordings auto-stop after 4 hours.

Relaying to GameChanger (admins only)

To forward a live field camera to GameChanger (or any RTMPS destination): open ⚙ StreamsRTMPS Relay, pick the camera from the source list, paste the game's rtmps://… URL + stream key from GameChanger, and tap ● Relay. The relay runs in the cloud — you can close the app and it keeps going. Tap ■ Stop after the game (it auto-stops after 4 hours as a safety net).

4 When a game is in progress

When the team flips the app into Game in Progress mode, the screen simplifies so everyone focuses on the live action:

When the game ends, those buttons come back automatically so you can rewatch and browse photos.

What's the difference between this and Live Views? Live Views is the menu where you choose which camera angle(s) to watch. Game in Progress is a mode the team turns on that shows the live score and keeps everyone on the main game feed.

5 Schedule & scores

Tap 📅 Schedule to see the team's full season, powered by GameChanger:

It's the quickest way to check who we played, how we did, and who's next on the calendar.

Tap 📅 Schedule again to close it and return to the game.

6 Past games & replays

  1. Tap 📼 Past Games.
  2. Find the game by date and opponent.
  3. Tap 🎬 Video to watch the replay, or 🖼 Photos to see the gallery.

A game only shows a Video or Photos button if that content has been uploaded — so if you don't see one yet, check back later.

Multiple camera angles

Some games have more than one camera. When you open one, a 📐 Angles bar appears at the top. Tap an angle to add it to the screen or remove it — watch up to 3 at once (always at least 1). It opens on the main view by default.

7 Photos & favorites

Favoriting photos

Each photo has a heart in the corner:

As soon as you favorite your first photo, a ★ My Favorites shortcut appears at the top of 📼 Past Games. Tap it to see all your hearted photos from every game in one place, newest first, each captioned with the team and date when you open it full-size.

Good to know: Your favorites are tied to your login and sync automatically, so they follow you to any device you sign in on — heart a photo on your phone and it's there on your tablet too. Just open (or reopen) the app on the other device to pick up the latest.

8 Clips — save & share highlights

Catch a great play? Save the last 30 seconds as a clip and share it with family and friends.

Saving a clip

  1. Open a game's 🎬 Video from 📼 Past Games and play to just after the moment you want.
  2. Tap the ✂️ button on the playback bar — it saves the last 30 seconds.
  3. You'll be asked for an optional caption (e.g. "Grand slam!") — type one or leave it blank.

Your clips

Open 🎬 My Clips at the top of 📼 Past Games to see everything you've saved. For each clip you can:

Sharing with friends: a shared clip link plays that highlight for anyone you send it to — they don't need a login. Your clips also sync to your account, so they're on every device you sign in on.

9 Add it to your home screen (recommended)

Save BlasterVision to your home screen and it opens like a real app — full screen, no browser bars, and a tap away.

📱 iPhone & iPad (Safari)
  1. Open watch.hisbaseball.us in Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome on iPhone).
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up ⬆️ — at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top corner.

A BlasterVision icon appears on your home screen. Open it from there and it runs full screen like an app.

🤖 Android (Chrome)
  1. Open watch.hisbaseball.us in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen (it may say Install app).
  4. Tap Add / Install to confirm.

You may also see a small "Install" banner pop up automatically — tapping that does the same thing.

Why bother? The home-screen version hides the browser tabs and address bar, so the video fills more of the screen and it just looks nicer — exactly like a downloaded app.
